Punk's Now Dad

All this week our Australia: Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow series is exploring our country through the eyes of CQ poets, writers, and artists.

Bundaberg photographer Brad Marsellos has lived a lot of lives, from papparazzo to bass player in a Brisbane punk band to reporter with the national broadcaster.

His photography ranges from a viral shot of Suncorp Stadium's Wally Lewis statue in floaties during severe weather in Brisbane in 2011, to disaster coverage of a very different kind through the Sunken Houses exhibition that documented the destruction caused by Bundaberg's 2013 floods.

Brad's Instagram feed is a joyful celebration of his adopted home town of Bundaberg, of all that's offbeat and daggy, and of his evolution into a suburban dad in a Hawaiian shirt, cruising the streets of the 'Berg on a trike with a basket.

And doing it all in fine punk style.

Never submit.
