Has someone been making a really big sandwich?

A massive bread tag has been spotted snagged around the Yeppoon foreshore's Spirit Stone sculpture.

It wasn't dropped by toastie-loving aliens, nor do we have we have a terrifying Humpback/Sunblest hybrid lurking off the coast...

The huge tag was made out of recycled plastic corflute election signs by environmental artist Amber Countryman.

It's the latest from an artist whose previous works have used vine prunings, broken tiles and cutlery, plastic bottles, and chunks of coal.

It's temporarily clipped around the Spirit Stone, but local bakeries will continue to look over their shoulders nervously until the artist reveals where it'll turn up next.
